More importantly, it is disturbing that a supposedly professional HR practitioner would encourage this sort of discrimination on the basis of political views. The fact that partisanism is a subjective call and cannot be reliably measured makes such methods arbitrary in nature. Arbitrary discrimination is the worst kind. It is random and uses no logic as its basis.
